Beautiful Occupation Period German-Made American Air Force European Air Tranport Service Bul

This is a beautiful shoulder patch handmade in Italy for the United States Air Force European Air Transport Service. Patch is in royal blue and pictures a single star flanked by a set of two full golden wings. Patch reads "EUROPEAN AIR TRANSPORT SERVICE" at top in arc formation.

Circa WWII.

3" height and 3-5/8" width.

Felt patch with hand-embroidered silver and gold bullion wire and cotton muslin backing.

8 (Excellent-): Beautiful patch with a small but of bullion missing at top. Some tarnish on bullion but otherwise minimal wear.
