Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful patch made in Australia for the United States Far East Air Force. Patch is diamond-shaped shape in royal blue and pictures a winged star, sun and five smaller stars.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

3" in height x 3-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Felt patch with hand-embroidered silk and cotton thread and treated cotton backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto uniform.
