This is a mint and unfired circa 1960 United States Navy Carrier Division 1 lighter. This beautiful lighter was made by Penguin of Japan and has a nice applied enamel insignia on one side and an enameled two-star admiral flag on the other.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-1/2" in width and 1/2" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Hinge.
MARKINGS:Penguin High Quality Sharp Lighter on bottom.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a 1960s USN aircraft carrier division lighter collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay VBJX14 LAAEX5/14
