This is a beautiful circa late 1940s police captain badge from New Bedford, Massachusetts. This badge is by S.H. Reese of New York City.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 3" in height and 1-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
