Beautiful Late 1940's Maine State Licensed Ski Instructor Badge in Original Box by Balfour

Beautiful late 1940's Maine State licensed Ski School Instructor badge in original box by Balfour. The shield shaped enameled badge reads "SKI INSTRUCTOR" along the top within red enamel, the center of the shield depicts an image of the state of Maine in blue enamel on a background of white, and the word: "MAINE" across the center.

Gilt brass, plated brass, enamel, cardboard, velvet cardboard pin card

Vertical pin with drop in swivel locking catch.
