ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful late 1940's US Bureau of Indian Affairs Deputy Special Officer Badge. The badge is stunning with a gold front and hand-fired blue enamel. The patina on the badge is wonderful.

VINTAGE: Late 1940's.

SIZE: About 2-7/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gold plated brass with hard-fired enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with locking drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS: "DEPUTY. BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS. SPECIAL OFFICER. U.S."

CONDITION: 9 (Excellent+): The patina is beautiful. The pin is a little bit tight fitting, but still works.
