ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful late 1940's US Bureau of Indian Affairs Deputy Special Officer Badge. The badge is stunning with a gold front and hand-fired blue enamel. The patina on the badge is wonderful.

VINTAGE:

Late 1940's.

SIZE:

About 2-7/8" in height x 1-3/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold plated brass with hard-fired enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with locking drop-in locking catch.

MARKINGS:

"DEPUTY. BUREAU OF INDIAN AFFAIRS. SPECIAL OFFICER. U.S."
