Description
This is a circa late 1920s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 14th Infantry Regiment, also known as the "Golden Dragons". The DI is in a two-piece construction done in bronze with blue and red enamel. It was made in England by J.R. Gaunt for that company's New York store. The DI shows a golden dragon at center at reads THE RIGHT OF THE LINE.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1920s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Two-piece construction in bronze, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:J.R. GAUNT NEW YORK MADE IN ENGLAND.
