Beautiful, large and heavy 1915 bronze medal commemorating the winning of the Curtiss Marine Flying Trophy by the Aeronautical Society of California, made by Stark. The medal depicts mythical gods reaching for a plane soaring above a globe and reads: "Curtiss Marine Flying Trophy 1915"- "Won by AERONAUTICAL SOCIETY of CALIFORNIA - OSCAR A. BRINDLEY, PILOT - COMPLIMENTS OF GLENN H. CURTISS"
