ARTIFACT:
Beautiful 1969 heavy bronze medal commemorating the dedication of the San Diego Coronado Bay Bridge in original box by Medallic Art Co. in New York. The medal shows an image of the tresses and bridge with city skylines on either side and surrounding reads: "SAN DIEGO CORONADO BAY BRIDGE DEDICATED JULY 1969" in embossed lettering. The reverse shows an intricately detailed City Seal of San Diego beside the City Seal of Coronado and the outer edge of the medal is numbered: "234" and shows a maker mark that reads: "MEDALLIC ART CO. N.Y."
