Beautiful, Early 1930's USCG CPO Hat Badge. Heavy Rope

Beautiful, early 1930's United States Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer (CPO) hat badge in plated brass and with a heavy rope embellishment. The badge shows an anchor with a US Shield in the center bearing thirteen raised stars and vertical stripes below.
