Beautiful Austrian Silver Snuff Box Circa 1840 Engraved with Napoleon Bonaparte

This is a beautiful Austrian snuff box in silver from around 1840. The hinged lid of the box shows an engraving of Napoleon Bonaparte on his horse, while the bottom of the box has an intricate striped and scrolling design. The box is in the style of a chest and is stacked in two tiers.

Circa 1840s.

Approximately 2-1/8" in height and 3-1/4" in width and ¾" in thickness.

Silver.

Hinged.

Three marks on inside of lid and in bottom (hard to read – please see photos above).
