Beautiful and Rare Summer of '43 US Aviation Sweetheart Aircraft Marking Pin by Amico

This is a beautiful and rare sterling silver United States aviation sweetheart aircraft marking pin by Amico. The pin shows a white star on a blue field at center with two white stripes flanking it, all bordered by red.

Circa July-August 1943.

3/8" height and 1-1/4" width.

Gold-plated sterling silver with red, white and blue enamel.

Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
