ARTIFACT:

This is a World War I French-made United States aviation sweetheart pin. The pin is a delicate circle with a winged globe and propeller at center and reads AVIATION.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War I.

SIZE:

13/16" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.

MARKINGS:

G.L.P. (?) on catch.

ITEM NOTES:
