WWI US Army Machine Gun Battalion Sweetheart Pin

This is a World War I United States Army machine gun battalion sweetheart pin. The pin is a slender, robin's-egg blue enameled frame encircling two crossed guns and the letters MG U.S. The pin is accompanied by its original sales card.

Circa World War I.

Approximately 7/8" in diameter.

Plated sterling silver with enamel and paper card.

Horizontal pin with a C catch.

STERLING on reverse of pin and pencil writing on card.
