ARTIFACT: Beautiful, early WWII enameled sterling United States Army Infantry sweetheart pin by AMICO. The center of the pin features the Great Seal of the United States against a background of white enamel with a dark blue border. The reverse shows an AMICO maker's mark and reads: "STERLING". This is the only one like this I've seen and it has a great, early AMICO maker's mark.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately ¾" x 5/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled sterling

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with drop in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: "AMICO", "STERLING"

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Homefront Sweetheart collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX15 LDEX12/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The pin shows minor surface wear, tiny edge flake (does not detract), lovely tarnish on reverse, overall excellent condition.
