ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful 1960's belt buckle for the Flying Tiger Line, which began in 1945 as the first commercial air cargo company in the US and was later a military charter outfit until 1989. The center displays a 3rd issue wing logo design, a wheel with a capital T at the center, and is beautifully enameled in red and blue. The "T" at center consists of an arrow and two small triangles, all surrounded by a circular border similar to a camera shutter.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960's.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 3-5/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, painted areas.

ATTACHMENT: Buckle and prong.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an airline collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEJX12 LBDEX8/12

CONDITION: 8 (Excellent-): The buckle shows very little wear.

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
