Beautiful 1890's Mineral County, West Virginia Constable Badge with Wonderful State Seal

Beautiful circa 1890's Mineral County, West Virginia Constable badge by C. D. Reese with a wonderfully detailed State Seal in the center. The shield shaped badge reads: "CONSTABLE MINERAL COUNTY" and the reverse shows a maker mark and great old repair to catch from the period of wear.

Approximately 2-1/8" x 1-3/4:.

Nickeled nickel.

Vertical kick pin with "C" type period-of-use-repaired catch.

"C.D. REESE 57 WARREN ST. N.Y."
