Description
Beautiful circa 1890's Mineral County, West Virginia Constable badge by C. D. Reese with a wonderfully detailed State Seal in the center. The shield shaped badge reads: "CONSTABLE MINERAL COUNTY" and the reverse shows a maker mark and great old repair to catch from the period of wear.
VINTAGE:Circa 1890's.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/8" x 1-3/4:.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickeled nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with "C" type period-of-use-repaired catch.
