This is a beautiful constable circle-star badge. It is in a great size at just about 2" across. It is a solid 1890s piece, and maybe even dates to the late 1880s, having no saddle on the pin. There is some nice yellowing to the nickel, and great engraved details at center. "CONSTABLE" is hand-stamped across the front.
VINTAGE:Circa 1880s-1890s.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass, painted details.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:None.
