Wonderful Large & Iconic Old West ca 1880s - 1890s "Stock" Constable Circle Star Badge

This is a wonderful, large, and iconic Old West circa 1880's - 1890's Constable circle star badge. This badge is light on the detail, but it is highly convex, which was accomplished by hand hammered repousse work, and it was hand lettered. The lettering and embellishment at bottom are filled with old "Jeweler's Black".
