ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful 1880's-90's United States Light House Service uniform vest button. The organization was employed by the US Coast Guard to maintain Lighthouses when they merged in 1939.

VINTAGE: Pre 1880's-90's

SIZE: Approximately 3/4" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Gilt Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Button Loop

MARKINGS: "FINE QUALITY."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Coast Guard collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJM17 LHEX03/17 SHEX07/19

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The button has survived wonderfully throughout the years.
