Beautiful 1880s-1890s US Express Co. Gold Enameled Badge with Period Receipt

This is a beautiful 1880s-1890s United States Express Company gold badge accompanied by period signed money order receipt dated October 30, 189This very delicate badge reads S.D. UNITED STATES EXPRESS CO. TRADE MARK and shows a winged chest flying beneath a horseshoe.

Circa 1880s-1890s.

Badge has 15/16 height and 1-1/8" width; receipt has 5-3/8" height and 8-3/8" width.

Gold in with blue and black enamel details; paper receipt.

Horizontal T-style pin with "C" catch.
