Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an antique tuning fork. The neck of the fork has an "A" mark on one side and "PHILHARMONIC" on the reverse.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1870s or 1880s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3/8" in width and 4-1/8" in length and 3/16" in thickness.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Steel.

ATTACHMENT:

None.

MARKINGS:

A on one side; PHILHARMONIC on reverse.
