ARTIFACT: This is a Disney-designed, American-made submarine patch for the United States Navy's USS Toro SS-422 for the occasion of the sub's 10,000th dive. The patch shows a charging bull superimposed upon a wing and reads SS 422 EL TORO TEN GRAND CLUB.

VINTAGE: Circa late 1950s.

SIZE: 2-5/8" height and 6-1/8"width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully-embroidered patch in multi-colored silk/cotton threads with a muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT: N/A.
