This is an American-made patch for the United States Navy's USS Cobbler SS-34The patch shows a walking shoe armed with a missile and reads USS COBBLER SS-344 AUDENTES FORTUNA JUVAT (Fortune favors the brave).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:4-5/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Canvas patch embroidered in multi-colored silk/cotton threads and muslin backing.
