ARTIFACT: This is an amazingly rare post-1943 Italian Air Force 'Full Dress' or 'Evening Dress' pilot wing to a Moschettieri del Duce. These elite guard only wore black uniforms and silver insignia, even air force men; hence the rare solid silver wing.

VINTAGE: Circa late World War II.

SIZE: About 2" wide by 5" high.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 800 Silver.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin back with Italian style plunger catch.

MARKINGS: 800 stamp and silver stamp.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The wing has some minor wear and light tarnishing, truly a wonderful example of this wing.
