This is an amazingly rare post-1943 Italian Air Force 'Full Dress' or 'Evening Dress' pilot wing to a Moschettieri del Duce. These elite guard only wore black uniforms and silver insignia, even air force men; hence the rare solid silver wing.
VINTAGE:Circa late World War II.
SIZE:About 2" wide by 5" high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:800 Silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin back with Italian style plunger catch.
MARKINGS:800 stamp and silver stamp.
