This is a 1970s United States Coast Guard Cutter Sagebrush (WLB-399) jacket patch. The Sagebrush was a sea-going buoy tender launched on September 30, 194Her home port became San Juan, Puerto Rico, and she was decommissioned in 198The patch shows the Sagebrush coming in past the old San Juan Castle.
VINTAGE:Circa 1970s.
SIZE:About 5" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered with cotton/poly/silk embroidery thread.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto garment.
