This is a celluloid badge for the 1968 Laconia, New Hampshire World Championship Sled Dog Derby, an annual event since 1929. The badge features a great graphic of a dog team and its "musher" on the front.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1968.
SIZE:
Approximately 2-3/16" in diameter.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Celluloid-wrapped tin.
ATTACHMENT:
Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:
W or M (within a circle) maker mark on edge.
