Description
This is a great old circa early 1900s or 1910s police badge from Laconia, New Hampshire: the home of Motorcycle Week! This badge would have been worn around the period when the first unofficial meeting of a few hundred motorcyclists happened upon Weirs Beach. Seven years later it was the real deal, and the police department in 1923 could never have conceived of how gargantuan their task would become at future Bike Weeks. The badge is in the radiator style with an interesting linked border and has a nice shine.
