Description
This is a circa early 1960s United States Navy enlisted man's uniform arc for Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron Thirty-Three (VAW-33). On 30 June 1959, VA(AW)-33 was redesignated "Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron Thirty-Three (VAW-33)." The squadron flew versions of the AD Skyraider that were suited for their mission - airborne early warning for aircraft carriers.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 3/4" in height and 3-13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.
