This is a mid-1960's United States Army Primary Helicopter School DI. The DI shows a shows a torch and stars against a crest with a helicopter blade design. The DI reads ABOVE THE FINEST (the school shared the motto of the US Army Aviation Flight School until July 1964).
VINTAGE:Circa 1964-1969.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK MADE IN U.S.A., 22M, Meyer maker's mark.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some very small spots of light wear and tarnish.
