This is a 1960s distinctive insignia for the United States Army Armor School. The DI shows two lit torches flanking a green and silver crest and reads FORGE THE THUNDERBOLT.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK 22M and maker's mark.
