This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 84th Military Police Group. The DI shows a great red and green fire-breathing dragon and reads PROVEN IN BATTLE.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, Meyer maker's mark and 22M.
