This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 4th Military Police Group. The DI reads OFFENSE AGAINST CRIME and shows two crossed swords and a shield bearing a star against a red shamrock.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:SUSCO S-21.
