This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 290th Military Police Battalion. The DI shows two crossed weapons beneath a thistle and reads CUSTODY WITH HONOR.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:G23 IRA GREEN INC. MADE IN USA.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light wear and tarnish.
