This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 387th Military Police Battalion. The DI shows a five-pointed star badge with a fleur-de-lis at its center and reads TOUJOURS EN VEDETTE (always alert).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:A. H. DONDERO INC. WASH. D.C. D-21.
