1960s US Army 519th Military Police Battalion (MP Bn) DI by Meyer

This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 519th Military Police Battalion by Meyer. The DI shows an Oriental stone garden lantern to represent service in Okinawa and a wave to commemorate their amphibious landing in 194The DI reads SERVICE TO THE TROOPS.

Circa 1960s.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, maker's mark, 22-M and MADE IN USA.
