This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 519th Military Police Battalion by the Ira Green Incorporated. The DI shows an Oriental stone garden lantern to represent service in Okinawa and a wave to commemorate their amphibious landing in 194The DI reads SERVICE TO THE TROOPS.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:G23 IRA GREEN INC. MADE IN USA.
