ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 508th Military Police Battalion by Meyer. The DI reads SINE PRAE JUDICIO (without prejudice) and shows a great bear walking beneath a sunset.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Two posts.

MARKINGS:

N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK, Meyer maker's mark, 22M.
