ARTIFACT: This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 508th Infantry Regiment by Denmark. The DI is a blue crest with a red lion passant across a diagonal banner in the same manner as the leopard on the Normandy coat of arms, and reads FURY FROM THE SKY.

VINTAGE: Circa 1960s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Two posts.

MARKINGS: D22.

ITEM NOTES: The DI you receive will either be this one or one in very similar condition. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX10/11

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light abrasions and one of the pins is slightly bent.
