This is a distinctive insignia for the United States Army 104th Infantry Regiment. The DI is a blue shield bearing six stars, a torch, an arrowhead and a cross, and reads FORTITUDE ET COURAGE (strength and courage).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:E-25.
