This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 2nd Military Police Company. The DI is a white oval framed by a blue border decorated by six golden fleur-de-lis.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:VANGUARD maker's mark.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some very small spots of light wear to the enamel.
