This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 137th Military Police Battalion. The DI shows a golden star at its center with a cannon shooting off a fireworks display and reads SERVICE TO THE COMMAND.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK with maker's mark and 22M.
