This is a 1960s United States Army 169th Maintenance Battalion DI. The DI is a shows a lock and chain with lightning bolts and reads JE MAINTIENDRAI (I will maintain).
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height 1-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:N.S. MEYER INC. NEW YORK 22M, Meyer maker's mark.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAL90 LAJX4/11
CONDITION:8 (Excellent-): The DI has some light wear only and one slightly bent post.
