1960s US Army 38th Aviation Battalion (Avn Bn) DI

This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 38th Aviation Battalion. The DI is enameled in an aqua blue and shows a wing beneath a circle with an X inside it. The DI reads EYE OF THE CYCLONE.

Circa 1960s.

Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.
