1960s US Army 15th Aviation Group (Avn Gp) DI by Dondero

This is a 1960s United States Army distinctive insignia for the 15th Aviation Group by Dondero. The DI shows a winged sword in front of a turret and reads FLYING MUSTANGS.

Circa 1960s.

Approximately 1-3/16" in height and 15/16" in width.

Plated brass with enamel.
