This is a 1960’s USN Nuclear Submarine US Daniel Boone SSBN-629 Commemorative Plaque.
USS Daniel Boone (SSBN-629), a James Madison-class ballistic missile submarine, was the only ship of the United States Navy to be named for Daniel Boone (1734–1820), the pioneer and frontiersman.
VINTAGE: 1960s.
SIZE: Approximately: 10-3/8” in height x 9-3/8” in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS: Wood & Painted Plastic Resin.
ATTACHMENT: Wire on the back.

CONDITION:
8- (Very Fine - Excellent): The Wood Plaque shows minor wear, and small damage on the corner (image 5), and there are spots where the paint has peeled off. Overall, it is in very fine condition.
