This is a circa 1950s badge for the Police Department of Watertown, Massachusetts. The badge is in a shirt-size and is in the "sunburst radiator", or "clamshell", design. The badge is topped by the Arm of Miles Standish.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, painted details.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking catch.
MARKINGS:PAT. number on bar.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some small spots of wear, mostly to the reverse.
