This is a 1930s-1940s shirt-size police badge from Merrimac, Massachusetts. The badge shows the seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at center and reads 23 POLICE MERRIMAC.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:2-1/8" height and 1-7/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass with blue enamel details and painted number.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
