ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1950's Swampscott, Massachusetts Auxiliary Police badge in a shirt-size. The badge has a great City Seal at the center. A part of the North Shore area near Boston, Swampscott was settled in 1629, yet remained a part of neighboring Lynn until 1852.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/16" in height by 1-7/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, painted details.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin on bar, drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: Patent number on bar.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an old Massachusetts police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX14 LFEX8/14 SFEX11/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some minor wear.
