This is a 1950s distinctive insignia for the United States Army Medical Replacement Training Center. The DI is an oval framing two arms clutching the Staff of Asclepius, and reads ADVANCING ALWAYS.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
